Il recitar cantando
The course, at a medium-advanced level, is aimed at all vocal registers and has as its objective the consolidation of vocal technique aimed at the study and interpretation of the Renaissance and Baroque repertoire through the various styles and related performance practices.
A free programme of the student's choice is allowed in all cases.
Bio
She began studying singing at the young age of sixteen. She graduated with honourable mention in Opera Singing and Renaissance and Baroque Singing under the guidance of Alessandra Ruffini and Roberto Balconi. She also graduated cum laude in Philosophy.
Her concert activity has led her to perform in numerous musical events in Italy and abroad such as Bologna Festival, Festival dei Due Mondi di Spoleto, Festival MiTo, Urbino Musica Antica, Festival di Stresa, Salzburger Festspiele, Styriarte - Graz, Resonanzen - Vienna, Schwetzingen, Klangvokal Musikfestival - Dortmund, Arolser Barock-Festspiele, Wratislavia Cantans, Musica Sacra Maastricht, Festtage Alte Musik Basel, Festival Cervantino - Guanajuato, singing as soloist in prestigious concert halls such as Teatro Alla Scala and Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, Teatro Sociale in Como, Teatro Comunale in Ferrara, Boulez Saal in Berlin, Theater an der Wien, Wiener Konzerthaus, Haus für Mozart in Salzburg, the Opera de Monte-Carlo, the Théâtre des Champs-Elisées in Paris, the Barbican Center in London, the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the Bozar in Brussels, the Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam, the Jordan Hall in Boston, the Oper Köln, the Teatro Juàrez in Guanajuato. She counts collaborations with numerous ensembles on the international music scene such as Ensemble Zefiro, Concerto Romano, La Fonte Musica, La Venexiana, Il Canto di Orfeo, Fantazyas, Boston Early Music Festival Ensemble and Les Musiciens du Prince. She also performed under the direction of Dmitry Sinkovsky, Alfredo Bernardini, Gianluca Capuano, Enrico Onofri, Francesco Corti, Alessandro Quarta, George Petrou, Maxim Emelyanychev and Alessandro Cadario. In 2022, she was a finalist in the Cesti competition in Innsbruck.
She has recorded for the Glossa, Arcana, CPO, Dynamic and Brilliant labels.
